Happy Bear Photos 12-01-08

There is nothing like a happy Bear.

A day at the Phoenix Coyote Hockey Arena

The Friday after Thanksgiving we got a last minute call from a friend in our ward who had 4 front row tickets to the Coyotes Hockey game. They offered them to us, so we jumped at the offer. Talk about fun! We were sitting so close to the rink we could almost count the broken teeth on the players as they slammed into the plexiglass.

Hanging the Christmas Lights

Chey took the liberty of capturing memories of me hanging lights outside. She also photographed some of the rest of the family.

Thanksgiving in lousy Arizona...2008

Here are some recent photos Chey and I took during Thanksgiving day.

It's Christmas Time again...2008

It's finally here...Christmas....yeah!!! We get to go spend it in Utah this year with family. We can't wait to go hit the slopes. This will be the kids' first year on skis and snowboards. We will definitely post those pictures.

Monday, November 17, 2008

This was taken when Grandma Nikki flew down from Utah to help mom out and visit with the grandkids (week of Sept. 23, 2008).

Here are some pics of the kids from a month ago.

Indy recently learned the best way to get everyone's attention is to use the "shock & awe" maneuver. So, here it is! He inserts both fingers into his nose. Typical boy thing to do.

I have added a few candid pictures of the kids here. One is of Ren enjoying his 14 yr. birthday cake. Another is of Indy proudly posing with his little brother, Bear.

A new addition to the family

There is no time like the present to get my blog up to date, right? There couldn't be a better reason to start either with the new addition to our family. For all those who haven't heard yet, our latest and LAST baby was born on August 15, 2008 via c-section. We named him Bear Hobbs. He weighed in at 8 lbs 4 oz and 21 3/4" long. Here I have posted a picture of Bear a day old.

We are currently waiting for our family Christmas pictures to come in then I plan to post them. Bear is three months old in these Christmas pictures taken this past Friday (11-14-2008). Stay tuned for more pictures. Maybe one day I'll be as good about blogging as my sisters Jenn and Alicia are.

A D'Angelo Family hike to the falls near Superstition Mtns.

Time for a quick family picture. Almost to our destination.

Bill and the kids standing at the petroglyphs on the rocks above the water falls. The falls happen to be dried up on this hike.

Indy's first birthday spent at the Phoenix Zoo

Indy is loving this squishy feeling.

Indy has enjoyed his first birthday cake! 2007

Extra Pictures I found along the way

Here Chey proudly displays her science project from 2006. Her project was about what materials conduct electricity.

Here Ren displays his project as well. This was his 2006 science fair also. His project was fun. He got to use fire with part of his prep process.

Indy is sporting his new beanie made especially by Grandma Nikki.

Before Indy's hair cut, 2006.

Ren was part of the Running Club at his elementary school for the past three years. Here he is running in his last running meet, 6th grade year, 2006.

Ren and Chey proudly display their finishing numbers. Chey came in at 116 and Ren came in at 13. Pretty good for there being a total of over 300 kids in the race.

This is Ren and Chey's 2005 final running meet.

Christmas 2006 in Utah

Ren took a cool slide down the hill just north of the Provo temple

Indy enjoying his first experience in the snow.

Here we are waiting to catch the light rail to Temple Square for Christmas Eve. We are going to enjoy the lights there.

You'd think, by this picture, that Ren and Chey have never ridden on public transit before; they haven't. That is why they are behaving like primates.

Grandma's lap is always the warmest on a cold, snowy night like tonight.

Our Christmas Eve Family Picture...isn't this too cool?!

We are just getting ready to go sledding behind the Provo temple. A great big snow bowl sits right behind the temple so we had to go conquer it. Ren is already out playing with Grandpa Dave; that is why they aren't in the picture.

Boyd's Birthday

Here we are in Utah, visiting for Boyd's birthday, July 4, 2007. We made this stop after our trip to LagoonA Park.

This is our family trip to LagoonA Park in Farmington, Utah, July 2007.

Chey and Bill hop back on the ride to make me mad. Now I have to walk to the other end of the park.

Bill and the kids share a ride.
